10TH SCIENCE PASSING PACKAGE
PART - PHYSICS
CHAPTER - ELECTRICITY
SI UNITS
→ electric current (I) - Ampere (A)
→ Resistance (R) - Ohm (Ω):
→ Electric charge (Q) - Coulomb (c)
→ electric potential (voltage) - Volt (v)
→ Electric power (P) - Watt (w)
→ work or energy (W) - Joule (j)
EQUATIONS
→ Current = Charge/Time ⇒ I = Q/T
→ Potential difference = work done/Electric charge ⇒V = W/Q
IMPORTANT TERMS:
→ Current (I): The rate of flow of charge is called current.
→ Potential Difference (V): Work done to move a unit charge from one point to another.
→ Voltmeter: It is an instrument to measure the potential difference. always connected in parallel.
→Ammeter: It is an instrument to measure the current. always connected in series.
